River rafting on the Aare between Thun and Bern is now possible by canoe or inflatable boat, with expert guides coaching you through fast and slow currents. What fun it is to watch the world glide by! First you enjoy grand views of the Bernese Alps, then you cross the Swiss capital city of Bern in all its medieval splendor and last but not least, you reach Lake Wohlen, a quaint little lake embedded in rolling hills and lush countryside. And if that"s not enough, you may even add one night to this journey and continue on to Solothurn the next day.

Since 1 January 2020, it has been mandatory to carry either a life jacket or a life ring per person.

The journey covers 28 km and takes 3-4 hours. The season generally lasts from May to October.
An unforgettable experience for adults and children from age 7.
