Intro

From Wimmis to the Lenk. The cows of the Simmental Valley are world-famous. Mountain farming brought early riches to the valley. Simmental's farm houses bear witness to this wealth.

The high standard of carpentry, architectural feats, all perfectly harmonious have evolved naturally and never fail to fascinate visitors. Simply unique! Along the Simmental House Trail, there are many magnificent buildings with impressive facade-paintings. The Simmental House Trail is best explored on foot, on asphalted lanes with very little traffic, or natural paths, always well sign-posted with tan-colored signs. More information
