Intro

This extraordinary resort comprises eight modern buildings located at the valley station of the mountain railways in Laax and is a world apart: the resort has 186 stylishly and comfortably furnished rooms and apartments that can sleep two, four, six or eight people, a range of shops, bars and several restaurants. Whether you want fast food or gourmet delights in the restaurant, there’s something for everyone here. The seminar rooms on the ground floor of Haus D in the rocksresort are characterized by their modern design and abundant natural light. The panoramic windows create bright, inviting spaces that are ideal for seminars, meetings, panel discussions, workshops, or receptions. Thanks to the ski-in/ski-out location, guests can enjoy an active meeting break. A variety of culinary options are located nearby, including Asian cuisine, Italian restaurants, cafés, and bars.

The architecture concept of Domenig Architects will enchant you: rocksresort is a Member of Design Hotels and was selected as the winner of the 2010 Design Award in the «best new ski resort» category by leading design, architecture and lifestyle magazine Wallpaper.
The extravagant gilded pendant lamps by Catellani & Smith, and textiles in natural shades, create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The baths with mini-spa are all fitted with steam bath, rainforest shower. Natural materials are used for the interior décor of the apartments, perfectly complementing the precise architectonic lines.

Family Hotels

The modern design resort with underground access is ideal for families: children can play safely in the meadows between the apartment blocks. In summer, the children’s programme includes treasure hunts, gift making, storytelling and excursions. Playgrounds, skill areas and go-kart circuits as well as other sports equipment are available free of charge. A visit to the Ami Sabi summer wonderland, the wellness facility or Europe’s first freestyle indoor base are all great ways to pass the time.

Swiss Bike Hotel

The hip design hotel is located right by the cable car valley station. You can go on the Runca Trail, the longest flow trail in Europe, straight from the hotel. Personal ski instruction and technique courses are available at the LAAX School. Trendy rooms and apartments with large open-plan kitchen/living areas. Refined cuisine in the various bars and restaurants: among them, the Mulania, which has been awarded 16 Gault-Millau points. This is an ideal resort for bike enthusiasts, families and groups.

Getting there

Our Airport Shuttle gets you to and from Friedrichshafen-and Zürich airport in only 1h 30 min to Laax. Arrival by car If you are travelling from Zurich, the easy way to get here is to follow signs for Chur on the A13 motorway. At the Reichenau motorway intersection (junction 18), follow directions to Flims on the main road (junction 19). It is about another 15 minutes' drive from there to Laax-Murschetg. As soon as you enter Laax, turn right at the first roundabout (Coop filling station). The rocksresort is 300 m further along on the left. Go to the signinahotel reception to check in and to obtain your garage tickets. Please go there first. The apartment will be at your disposal from 4 pm on the date of your arrival.
