The Steigenberger was built in 1875 as the first hotel at Davos Platz. It features an exclusive ambiance combining tradition and modern times with rooms decorated in a Swiss alpine style. Famous people such as Thomas Mann, Conan Doyle, or Albert Einstein stayed here, and the first «World Economic Forum» took place here too. Rustic farm-style restaurant with Swiss specialities, regional snacks at the Bar Carigiet and the Bistro Voilà.
