Over the mountain passes through Graubünden
Intro
Three days travelling right across Graubünden – having fun on the twisting and turning high mountain roads. Visitors to the Canton of Graubünden are attracted by its impressive mountain world, world famous resorts, traditional mountain villages and unspoilt valleys. Take the Graubünden Tour and enjoy the scenic views behind the wheel and along the roadside. The route is divided into 3 stages of one day each and starts in Zurich. In addition to the many highlights during your journey over the passes you’ll find a number of high quality destinations for day-trips and charming conference hotels.
The route will take you from Zürich to Chur, Switzerland's oldest city. Chur is the starting point for the tour through Graubünden and as such the beginning of the twisting, winding drive.
Day 1
Start in Zürich – highway to Chur – Lenzerheide – Julier mountain pass – Albula mountain pass – Flüela mountain pass – Ftan
Day 2
Start in Ftan – Ofen mountain pass – Umbrail mountain pass – Stilfser Joch – Bormio – Forcola di Livigno – Bernina mountain pass – St. Moritz
Day 3
Start in St. Moritz – Julier mountain pass – the Rhine Gorge – Oberalp mountain pass – Klausen mountain pass – Pragel mountain pass – Zürich
