Intro

An impressive view from Piz Palü across the Bellavista to Piz Bernina. Six kilometres before the Bernina Pass, the cable car climbs up on the right to this glacier viewpoint at almost 3,000 metres above sea level.

Legend has it that unwary hunters would follow a beautiful, flame-haired mountain nymph, only to disappear forever – the Diavolezza is said to get its name from this she-devil.

The Diavolezza offers a host of activities in summer: a beautiful panoramic terrace with a view of the “Festsaal der Alpen”, a mountain retreat with double and multi-bed rooms, the VR Diavolezza – the highest virtual reality experience in the world – and of course numerous hiking trails and via ferratas. The classic glacier hike over the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers to the Morteratsch station is also very popular. We recommend you make this tour in the company of a mountain guide.

In winter, snow sports enthusiasts can look forward to a perfectly groomed ski area, complete with a descent by the light of the full moon.
