Venue

Schloss Elgg, in whose grounds the Zehntenhaus (tithed house) lies, was first documented in historical records in 1166 A.D. and is one of the best-preserved castles in Europe. The Zehntenhaus was renovated with great attention to historic detail at the start of 2020 and subsequently opened to the public as a premium event venue with a stylish banquet hall and unique vaulted cellar. It offers an ideal venue for private and company events, as well as for seminars, meetings and conferences for between 5 and 100 people, where the emphasis is on creating a fascinating atmosphere and a unique experience.

Wedding

With its stately atmosphere and stunning countryside location, the Zehntenhaus at Schloss Elgg is the perfectvenue for wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. It offers an outside area and two inside areas for you and your guests to use on your special day. The ceremony itself can take place either inside or outside. Guests can mingle across the various rooms, which can be set up to meet your needs. The Zehntenhaus also boasts spectacular views, making it the ideal place for a photo shoot.
