Intro

Discover the magnificent Neuenburger Lake on an attractive tour. Enjoy nature, gentle waves, peace and fine food. With a surface area of 217 km2 the Neuenburger Lake is the largest lake on Swiss territory.

The charming villages dotted around the lake are frequented by the regular boat services that ply the lake, especially in the summer. The majority of boats have an on-board restaurant. Numerous boat connections enable boat trips to be combined with short or longer hikes and cycling tours along the shoreline. Where possible, bicycles are transported on boats. The national "Mittelland" Cycle Route 5 leads along the south-eastern lakeshore. The trip from Neuchâtel to Yverdon-les-Bains at the western end of the lake takes 2.5 hours.

Welcome aboard this unique cruise through lakes and canals in the heart of Switzerland. On the Three Lakes cruise you will discover lakes Morat, Neuchâtel and Biel and the romantic St. Peter's Island. Depart from Murten, the historic Zähringer town.

Back in service at the age of 102: After a 45-year time-out, the steam ship "Neuchâtel" has been back in action since 2014. It was built in 1912, which makes it a genuine cultural treasure. This historic ship underwent an extensive renovation and now offers the opportunity to explore the scenery of the three Jura lakes.
