The villages in the canton of Schwyz celebrate Carnival in their own fashion – with masks unique to each village.
The traditional carnival costumes and masks are stored here. Some of the carnival figures date back to the 18th and 19th century. Some have their origin in the Venitian Carnival.Today one can rent the costumes for carnival.
