Arosa is family-friendly. The Squirrel Trail is a popular themed trail for all ages and provides a picturesque route through the forest. Here, you can feed squirrels with hazelnuts or walnuts (no peanuts or almonds please) and get up close to them. The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is another point of interest for all generations. In the middle of the mountain landscape, you can watch the bears as they roam in their natural habitat. During a visit to the bear platform, at over 2,000 metres up, you will also learn a lot of exciting things about the animals.Weisshorn – ski area and hiking paradise
The Arosa Lenzerheide ski area offers you over 225 kilometres of perfectly groomed ski and snowboard slopes in winter. In summer, you can explore the area on a variety of hiking and mountain biking trails around the Weisshorn. From Arosa, you can reach Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland, in just under an hour. From Arosa to Chur, the trail leads through the idyllic Schanfigg valley. In winter, you can take the Hörnli-Urdenfürggli cable car to the ski area of Lenzerheide.
