Welcome to Schloss Münchenwiler! Schloss Münchenwiler - not far from the historic town of Murten - lies in the middle of a spacious park. Here you will find the dignified atmosphere of the grand old days. Founded as a Cluniac priory, later extended to a Bernese feudal seat, we welcome you today in the historic but modern castle complex. Spend the night in one of the stylishly furnished castle rooms or in the modern guesthouse, where the rooms are replicas of a monastic hostel, and enjoy dinner in the castle restaurant or on the terrace. We look forward to your visit!
The castle Münchenwiler is located about 5 minutes by car from the historic town of Murten. The hotel has a large car park, which can easily accommodate 80 cars. Approach by car: Motorway A1 to exit Murten, direction Lausanne, at the fifth roundabout turn left, sign "Münchenwiler". Approach by public transport: By train to Murten railway station - Continuation by bus to Münchenwiler, Salvenachstrasse - Continuation by taxi (car approx. CHF 15.00), Tel. 026 672 29 29 - or on foot approx. 30 minutes (incline), distance approx. 3 kilometres. By train to the stop Münchenwiler-Courgevaux - Continuation by bus to Münchenwiler, Salvenachstrasse - or on foot approx. 15 minutes, distance approx. 1 km
