Carriage rides through the village and the various idyllic valleys are enjoyed on a daily basis in Davos - with special full-moon rides adding just a touch more to a scenic highlight.
Several regional horse and carriage providers offer discovery trips in the Davos region throughout the year. A warmly recommended trip is that of a ride through the Dischmatal valley - the longest side valley in Davos at a length of 12 kilometers. Trips can sometimes be combined with tasteful enjoyment in one of the regional restaurants too; where culinary specialities add to leisurely pleasures.
In summer you also have the chance to book a trip down memory lane in a true-to-life replica of the old Flüela post coach. A stretch between Davos and the pass summit can be traveled by carriage with the journey back then by postbus.
