The Paul Scherrer Institute ( PSI) is the largest and most well-known research centre for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. This is where fundamental and applied research is performed focusing on effective solutions for core issues of society, economy and science. Key words include matter, material, and human health. A once in a lifetime opportunity to look behind the scenes of a leading research institute and experience research live. Specific topics may be arranged with the Institute.
Long tour approx. three hours including a visit of the major research facility Synchrotron Swiss Light Source or the Spallation neutron source.
Short tour approx. 90 minutes including introductory presentation and use of interactive exhibits as well as a film.
