Description

This is Verbier

Verbier is located in the southwest of Switzerland in the canton of Valais. This village, with its cosmopolitan flair, is a top holiday destination thanks to the first-class “4 Vallées” winter sports area and the variety of year-round outdoor activities visitors can enjoy.

Discover Verbier

Start your exploration with a walking tour of Verbier. The wooden chalets with their typical mountain architecture, and the many cafés, bars, restaurants and shops are truly striking. How about a leisurely cable car ride to the Alp de Chaux? Here you can discover works of art surrounded by nature in the 3D sculpture park as you enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. You can end the day with a traditional Valais raclette or a wellness treatment in a hotel spa.

“4 Vallées”: Verbier’s top ski region

Verbier gives you access to the “4 Vallées” winter sports area: Around 90 cable cars and mountain railways provide access to this gigantic winter sports area that extends across Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon, offering you unlimited fun in the snow. Many of its slopes are located in high alpine terrain, for example on Mont Fort at a height of 3330 meters: this means that the views are magnificent and the descents epically long. If you’re looking for adrenaline kicks on steep slopes, marked freeride trails or fun in the snowpark, Verbier is the place for you.

A nature and sports paradise

In the warm season, Verbier is transformed into a large playground for outdoor enthusiasts. The expanses of the Haut Val de Bagnes offer over 500 kilometres of hiking trails with views of the Grand Combin and Mont Blanc. You can also let off steam on more than 800 kilometres of mountain bike trails or indulge in some trail running, paragliding or golfing.

Around Verbier

Explore the natural landscape of the upper Val de Bagnes with the Mauvoisin Dam – you might even spot some chamois or ibex! Below Verbier in the Rhone Valley lies the cultural city of Martigny. Two panoramic train routes start from here: the Mont Blanc Express, which passes through the wild Trient Gorge, and the St. Bernard Express, which will take you to Orsières in the Grand St. Bernard Valley.

Experience Verbier for less

If you book an overnight stay between June and October, you will receive the VIP Pass. This will allow you to enjoy free admissions and price reductions throughout the Val de Bagnes.
