Where are you from?
The three-floor winery was designed by the famous architect Mario Botta. The top floor of the building features a sober yet elegant tasting room where seminars, events, wine tastings, cooking courses and dinners can be organised.
Documents written in the 12th century indicate the Diocese of Como as owner of the land of Moncucco. On these terraces the family "De Montechuco" cultivated the vine. Since then the hill of Moncucchetto, which is located at 400 meters above sea level, between Lugano and Sorengo, is dedicated to wine production.
The versatility of the function room offers the possibility to organize banquets and cocktails, which in the spring and summer season can be realized in our magnificent terrace overlooking the pond Muzzano. The kitchen is run by Chefs Jose De La Iglesia and Andrea Muggiano, both award-winning; they realize with passion and enthusiasm different cooking classes and tastings in agreement with the winemaker Cristina Monico, making guests direct spectators of the art of food and wine.
