Welcome to the Grand Hotel National, located directly at the beautiful Lake Lucerne. Be enchanted by the breathtaking view of the mountain panorama, stroll along the promenade or relax on our pool floor with swimming pool, sauna and massage services. Our 41 rooms are furnished in Empire style. We offer 7 venues for events from 8 to 280 people, including 5 business rooms and the magnificent "Ritz" and "Escoffier" halls for larger events. French cuisine is reinterpreted in the Sharing Brasserie Juliette, with creative dishes made from high quality regional ingredients.

The luxury five star hotel, originally created in the 1870s by Caesar Ritz and August Escoffier, combines tradition with comfort and warmth and is the perfect venue for business and vacation. Situated on the lakeside promenade, it offers easy access to the old city, all important sights, shopping area, Culture and Convention Centre and the railway station. From the hotel there are views across the lake to the Alps. 41 rooms and suites are individually designed in the original imperial style with great attention to detail. In our restaurant Trianon our chef will serve you regional, innovative and light meals. During the summer months, you can enjoy these delicacies on the beautiful lakeside terrace. For private splendid banquets both ballrooms “Ritz” & “Escoffier” offer the ideal setting. The ballrooms have a capacity of up to 230 people with banquet seating and a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne. There are 4 elegant business rooms for workshops and meetings for up to 30 people.

We offer attractive wedding packages to give you full control over costs. For parties of 25 people or more, you can also spend the night free of charge in one of our luxurious suites as a gift from the hotel.
