Getting a glimpse of the future by looking into the past: We convey history (of industrialisation, technological developments in Switzerland, the manufacture of textiles, the use of energy and much more) not only to bring the past to life for our visitors, but also to contribute to the debates that concern and challenge society today: Fast vs. slow fashion, global v. local production, the future of energy generation and much more.
