Introducción

Descripción

A former monastery dating from the 12th century, this unique historic hotel is located on car-free St. Peter¿s Island in the middle of Lake Biel. It is surrounded by a large park and features a restaurant serving regional specialities and its own wine.

Cómo llegar

The hotel is just 50 metres from the lakeshore and the ferry port. Erlach, the nearest village on the lakeshore, is 15 km from Murten and Neuchâtel, and 24 km from Biel. Please note that the hotel is located on a traffic-free island. It can be reached by ferry from Biel and other places around the lake, as well as by the hotel¿s private boat (available on request). Guests arriving by car can park next to the ferry port in Erlach, the nearest village (at a cost).
