Digital Detox and Clean-up Day, and sustainable culture, on Monte Generoso

A day dedicated to sustainability and raising awareness of waste and waste disposal.
The Digital Detox experience will allow you to truly understand how much time we waste on our mobile phones and how many things we could be doing instead. You can do it again as often as you feel the need to unplug, to take time to reflect, to be more aware, and to find the right kind of ‘digital well-being’ for a better life. Leave your electronic devices in a locked box in Capolago, before getting on the little cog railway train.

Once you reach the summit of Monte Generoso, you can immerse yourself in nature and make a practical and sustainable contribution by rolling up your sleeves and helping clean up the paths around the ‘Fiore di pietra’.
Before immersing yourself in sustainable culture, you can sample typical local dishes at our self-service restaurant at the ‘Fiore di pietra’.
After the lunch break, you can take a guided tour of the Giacomo Braglia exhibition, ‘Conversations with Sustainability’. Using an innovative technique, the artist gives body to traditional photography, overcoming its limits by making it conquer the third dimension.
