エンガディン地方の観光拠点のひとつポントレジーナに1848年創業。約150年の歴史を誇る老舗の5ツ星ホテルは、ネオ・バロック様式のお城のような建物が、内装とあわせて重要歴史文化財に指定されています。そんな伝統の建築を守りながらも、快適な滞在のため大規模な改修工事をおこない2007年リニューアルオープンしました。 その翌年となる2008年には、この地方の特徴であるスイスマツを使った木の温もりあふれるレストラン「クローネン・シュトゥーブリKronenstübli 」に、オーストリア人シェフのベルント・シュッツェルホッファーBernd Schützelhofer氏を迎え、すぐに有名レストランガイドのゴーミヨで16点を獲得。そしてミシュランの1ツ星を獲得しました。クリエイティブな独創性にあふれる洗練されたフレンチ料理の世界が楽しめます。ほかに2つのレストラン、サウナやジャグジー、プール、スチームバスなどが完備したスパセンター（2,000m2）もあります。

The Kronenhof is situated right in the middle of the old village area of Pontresina, called "Laret", majestically it bestows an appearance of luxurious splendour upon the village. It offers a unique view to the glaciers Bernina and the surrounding pine and larch forests. Pontresina's lies at 1800 metres above sea level, on the foot of the eternal ice of the Bernina and at the entrance of the wild romantic Roseg valley. It is within easy distance to the popular St. Moritz and serves as meeting point for skiers, cross-country skiers, mountain climbers and nature enthusiasts.
