The restaurant features a classical seasonal cuisine with fish specialities, and an attractive pavilion annex. Located on the quiet “Horw” peninsula, Lucerne's city center can be reached in only 15 minutes, by boat (in summer) or public bus. The old town with its proximity to Lake Lucerne, the Alps and many sights is a popular destination and offers countless opportunities. At the Seehotel Kastanienbaum you can enjoy direct views of the lake or the mountains in all rooms. On the lakeside terrace and in our restaurant you will be served regional delicacies and newly interpreted classics with a magnificent view of Lake Lucerne. In winter, the lakeside terrace is transformed into a winter wonderland with cozy fondue huts. Relax and unwind in our small spa area with sauna and steam bath (daily on request). Our heated outdoor pool incl. private beach is open from May to mid-October, weather permitting. WLAN is available free of charge throughout the hotel.
The hotel is located on the "Horw” peninsula directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 10 minutes by car from Lucerne city center.
