With over 300 years of history, the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of the oldest and most prestigious hotels in Europe. Located in the heart of Basel's Old Town, directly on the banks of the Rhine, it combines historic charm with modern luxury and offers the ideal starting point to explore the art and culture city of Basel as well as the border triangle of Switzerland, France and Germany. As a traditional hotel, it has welcomed illustrious guests over the centuries and secured a firm place in the top hotel industry.

At the Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl, awarded 3 Michelin stars and 19 Gault Millau points, you can expect first-class French haute cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The extensive wine list with over 700 selected wines rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. Brasserie Les Trois Rois offers a selection of Swiss and French specialities with views of the Rhine. The bar Les Trois Rois presents award-winning cocktail creations and is appreciated as a lively meeting place by guests, locals and regulars alike.

Complemented by the cigar lounge "The Council", which opened in autumn 2024, and a new, multi-purpose event area, the hotel remains an indispensable part of the art and culture scene in Basel.
