On our SUP City Tour through the heart of Zurich, you'll be guided by paddle to historic locations along the city's waterways. It's a truly special excursion that not only allows you to experience the joy of paddling, but also learn about the fascinating history of Zurich as you float by. This 3-hour paddle adventure is perfect for those who are sufficiently fit and have a basic understanding of paddle technique, either in the Kayak or Stand up Paddle. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore the city from a whole new perspective!
We are a young and sustainable Startup, that was created and is mostly run by students. We offer job opportunities specifically to young students every year, giving them the opportunity to work outdoors in nature while constantly improving our business model. Furthermore, we have created the world's first fully automatic and solar-powered water sport vending machine, where customers can self-sufficiently get stand up paddle or Kayaks to enjoy the fantastic biodiversity of lake Zürich. We a producing not only enough solar power to run the automatic locks, and the cashier system, but also to power our entire Office structure, E-bikes and all employee mobile phones. We transport 99% of all our gear between stations at lake Zürich with electro cargo bikes that are charged out of our own Infrastructure. Furthermore, we buy our gear from local (Indiana SUP) or nearby European (Fanatic SUP in Austria) companies, and together we have achieved a 1.7 Ton reduction in plastic packaging over the past 3 years, replacing it with 100% recyclable carton fibre. 10% of our Workforce in 2019, 2020 and 2021 have been students from the LGBT community. 2022 we have started to include students with physical disabilities. We are a Partner of the Zürich Vogelwarte to protect biodiversity at lake Zürich. We work closely with Grünstadt, Zürich to reduce completely the impact of our Infrastructure. We have created the CLEAN THE LAKE Events where we partner with Stadtreinigung Zürich and the local schools to clean the lake from the water after big events such as Streetparade, ZüricFäscht, Marathons etc.
