Inleiding

To the carving knives, ready, go! Would you like to learn how to carve the iconic Trauffer wooden cow yourself? Attach the horns, ears and bell and even paint on the funny spots yourself? Our experienced carvers and painters will be happy to teach you all this. Groups of 15 or more can book this unique event at Trauffer Erlebniswelt.

Want to get hands-on? Great! Our carvers look forward to showing you and your friends or employees how to carve and paint the Trauffer cows, how to attach the tail, ears and straps - including the all-important cowbell. By appointment and for groups. Trauffer Switzerland stands for sustainability, craftsmanship, Swiss origin and Swiss quality. Would you like to learn more and see the production with your own eyes? We'd love to! From 4 June 2022, we will open our doors to guests and you can take a look behind the scenes on a guided tour or on your own in the world of experience. We obtain our wood exclusively from five selected Swiss wood suppliers. These extend from the Brienz region right across the whole of Switzerland. All sawmills and suppliers are FSC-certified and stand behind the Swiss Wood label.
