A successful event calls for three ingredients: Room for new ideas, a bed for the night, and food and drink for visitors. Guests in Gstaad will find that as a destination it can offer all this and more at any time of the year. There is something for every taste and level of discernment: from rustic alpine huts to luxurious hotels.
Added value
The Gstaad Card
Organising a social programme can prove challenging. One easy solution is for all the members in a group to purchase a Gstaad Card. This covers all public transport and a number of different activities, such as the suspension rope park. A ticket for the whole group, without any additional organisational effort – what more could you ask for?

The Alpina Gstaad – EarthCheck
This 5-star hotel collaborates with EarthCheck to provide environmentally friendly solutions in the hotel sector. Natural resources are carefully preserved and local businesses supported. The hotel garden has its own colony of bees, and there’s a chance to observe them at work as part of a beekeeping workshop. And “zero waste pasta” is served up in the restaurant.
Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad – Climeworks
A day spent skiing or sledding with your team is always a fun experience after challenging meetings! And all the more so when you know that you are making a small contribution to the environment. You can put your deposit cards in ice block boxes at the valley station. Five francs on the key card corresponds to CO2 compensation of five kilos. Compensation takes place at the destination directly through a special carbon dioxide removal system.
Daniel von Siebenthal – Gstaad vegetable grower
Alpine farming is usually more associated with cows. But not for Daniel von Siebenthal, who supplies many local hotels and restaurants. The innovative farmer also grows unconventional vegetables for you to enjoy. He is currently working on producing Gstaad wasabi, for example.
