Inleiding
This experience invites participants to explore the Crans-Montana region through its wine-growing heritage and its bisses.
The first half of the experience is devoted to a guided walk along the Sillonin bisse and through the Flanthey vineyard, along with commentary on the history of vine and wine in Valais. The participants also learn about the nature and history of the bisses, real historic emblems of the Valais landscape since the 14th century. The construction of these irrigation channels allowed water to be delivered to crops from a far-off spring. Today, these bisses offer magnificent gently sloping walks that allow visitors to make the most of the pristine landscapes and spectacular panoramas. The second part of the experience is dedicated to a guided tour of the wine cellar as well as a tasting of wines that are representative of the region.
