Carrot tops, radish leaves, watermelon rind: these parts are not only edible, but also offer new taste experiences. Esther Kern, initiator of the “Leaf to Root®” campaign, and the Hiltl pros present a variety of ways to use leaves, stems, stalks and roots.

Course content:

  • Introduction to the Leaf to Root®* concept by Esther Kern
  • Tasting of parts of raw vegetables, plus tips for preparation methods, along with lots of information on what they are used to make worldwide
  • Participants split into teams, and each team cooks a dish with belly-friendly ingredients.
  • Eating together
  • Recipes sent out by e-mail in PDF format
