The St. Jakobshalle Basel is located on the south-eastern edge of the city, in the centre of a uniquely designed park and recreational area. The facilities, with their spacious dimensions, including a total of twelve halls, and their bold architectural construction, offer a forum for all types of events. In addition to all manner of sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, general assemblies, show performances and television productions or conferences can also be held here. The building is a meeting place for young and old and enjoys an international reputation. It can easily be reached thanks to the bus, tram or S-rail connections nearby.
