Built in typical Swiss chalet style, the Hotel Bänklialp offers its guests cosy rooms and its peaceful location makes it a relaxing retreat after an active day in the mountains. Guests enjoy the idyllic atmosphere and the view of the beautiful mountain landscape, the village of Engelberg and the neighbouring forest. Most of the room categories also offer balconies, where the panoramic views are even better. The Bänklialp restaurant invites you to savour culinary delights in an elegant Alpine chic ambience. Here, traditional Swiss dishes as well as international cuisine are served for lunch and dinner. In fine weather, the panoramic terrace invites guests to enjoy their meal. The Hotel Bänklialp is situated in an elevated position on the edge of the forest, just 500 metres from the charming village centre of the monastery village of Engelberg and the railway station. The valley station of the Titlis mountain railway is also within easy reach, around 800 metres from the hotel and can be easily reached on foot. The ski areas are therefore easy to reach in the winter months. Guests also have access to the 38 kilometre-long Engelberg cross-country ski trail network directly below the hotel. Bike enthusiasts particularly appreciate the fact that the "Trail Arena Engelberg", located in the neighbouring mountain forest, is directly connected to the hotel grounds. This is a sporting highlight for guests in the warmer seasons.
