Completely renovated in 2009 the hotel offers the charm of the 19th century combined with modern comforts and the latest technology. Situated next to the Swiss central train station and the airport-bus terminal. This city hotel, built in 1864, wins people over with its inviting ambience and its excellent location. The UBS training centre and the Auditorium Bâloise are within a oneminute walking distance. The exhibition grounds and the other convention centres can be quickly reached by tram, as well as all the historic city centre, the important museums, theatres, sport stadiums and the Basel Zoo. The lobby bar with a nice smoking area is open 24 hours a day. Local telephone calls and the use of Internet corners are complimentary.
