Inleiding

Viersterren boetiekhotel, gelegen middenin de autovrije oude binnenstad, dat in 2015 voor het eerst de deuren opende. Bij het hotel horen naast de 39 individuele designkamers en -suites een eigen bibliotheek, het exquisiete restaurant Balthos met bar en het Delish-Take-Out. Culinair richt men zich op een kosmopolitische menukaart, waaronder ook veganistische gerechten. Gratis gebruik van het Turks bad en wellnesscentrum op loopafstand.

Seminarhotel

This boutique hotel, with its 39 individually furnished rooms, two restaurants and a bar, lies in the heart of Zurich’s historic Old Town. The building, which dates from the 15th century, can look back at over 600 years of hospitality. Despite extensive renovation, the numerous stories from the past can be experienced and perceived throughout the hotel. Many of the historical features are under a preservation order, and thanks to careful renovation its age-old past is now combined with timeless, eclectic design abounding in charm and personality.

Beschrijving

The building was first mentioned in writing in 1291 and since then has become an absolute icon on Zurich’s urban landscape. The hotel is a member of the Historic Hotels of Europe and is overflowing with culture and history. Nevertheless, all the rooms meet the modern-day high standards and are individually designed.

From arrival to departure, here the guest is king: whether enjoying an aperitif or a meal in the hotel’s in-house Igniv Restaurant – a culinary masterpiece by Michelin-starred chef Andreas Caminada – or browsing through the hotel’s historic library, quality is to be found in every nook and cranny at the Marktgasse.

The “Marktgässli” is one of the oldest guesthouses in the city and could hardly be more central: as soon as you cross the threshold, you find yourself in the heart of the Old Town and close to the magnificent River Limmat.

Swiss Historic Hotel

Het hotel wordt in 1425 voor het eerst genoemd als taveerne. Sinds de ingrijpende verbouwing met behoud van de cultuurhistorische elementen bekoort het 600-jaar oude hotel in de romantische oude binnenstad van Zürich, het “dorpje”, met zijn mix van historie en modern. Zichtbaar gemaakte kolommen, fleurige fresco's, ranke lambriseringen en nostalgische vensterramen doen enigszins denken aan vervlogen tijden. De 39 sfeervolle kamers zijn ingericht met designklassiekers en hoogwaardige parketvloeren.

Boutique & Design Hotel

Dit meer dan 600 jaar oude hotel bekoort met een verfijnde mix van historische, onder cultuurmonumenten vallende elementen en tijdloos modern design. Zuilen, fresco's en oude vloeren worden afgewisseld met ranke houten stoelen en stofferingen in ingetogen kleuren. Voor elke van de uiteenlopend grote kamers en zalen werd speciaal meubilair ontworpen, dat de sfeer creëert van een privéwoning. De lobby is een woonkamer, in het lokale delish Café Take-out en Baltho Keuken&Bar op de begane grond ontmoet men de plaatselijke inwoners.
