Take a nostalgic trip in a beautiful vintage dining car and enjoy a delightful aperitif while gazing out on the majestic panoramic view. The mountains at sunset provide the backdrop for an unforgettable evening meal – this is the ideal way to discover a different side of the “Queen of the Mountains”.

Starting in Vitznau, you'll experience a delightful ride up the mountain in the vintage “Belle Epoque” dining car, which includes an aperitif and hostess service. The majestic panorama that awaits you at Rigi Kulm will put you in the right frame of mind for a romantic meal. You can then choose to ride or walk back down to Rigi Staffel, where you will be served a delectable 3-course evening meal at Restaurant BärgGnuss. Your romantic summer evening comes to an end with the descent back down to Vitznau.

Included in the price of CHF 145.00 per person is a ride up the mountain in the “Belle Epoque” dining car, departing at 6:45 p.m. from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm. While enjoying an aperitif, a hostess will provide a brief explanation of the panorama. Then you will dine by candlelight and finally return by train to Vitznau.
