The Hotel Belvedere has been family-owned since it opened in 1907 and is now personally managed by the 4th generation of the Hauser family. Located not far from the centre, it offers a unique view of the Eiger. The 56 air-cooled (A/C) non-smoking rooms boast a balcony, bath or shower and a choice of pillows. The restaurants «1910 · Gourmet by Hausers» (awarded one star in the Guide MICHELIN 2023 and 15 Gault-Millau points) and «Belvedere» offer delicious cuisine that will tantalise your taste buds. Many of the products on the breakfast buffet come from the region and are original to Grindelwald. You can enjoy the Swiss cheese fondue in the cosy gondola. The wellness area with saltwater whirlpool in the garden, swimming pool and saunas offers relaxation for the whole family and a game of billiards and a drink at the bar is a cosy way to end the day.Grindelwald is within an easy half-hour reach of Interlaken by car or by train. The Hotel Belvedere is located at the entrance of the village, not far from the centre and the train station. We offer free parking in our own outdoor car park. Please reserve your indoor parking space in advance. Charging stations are available for your electric car. If you choose to come by train, we will be pleased picking you up at the Grindelwald station between 07:00 and 20:00. This will save you the five minutes it takes to walk to the hotel. The mountain railways and cableways are easy to reach. During the winter season, our ski bus takes you every morning in comfort to the valley stations in Grindelwald. And Grindelwald's public ski bus service stops directly in front of our hotel.

The gourmet restaurant has flexible opening times. There is an expansive indoor wellness area for the whole family, while outdoors the entire Grindelwald ski region awaits.
