Introdução

The Alpine Foundation for Life Sciences is located in Olivone (Blenio valley). Their goal is to support, coordinate and promote education and research in the field of biosciences.

The Foundation
In particular, it explores the medicinal and aromatic plants and their therapeutic effects in human and veterinary medicine. For this grounds the Alpine Institute organises trainings and scientific conferences in Switzerland and abroad.

The visit
All the year round it is possible to visit the various structures of the Alpine Foundation for Life Sciences. Many activities are possible during the visit, such as botanical excursions, creation of ointments, oils and handcreams.
