The hall of the Société Genevoise des Amis de l'Instruction, built in 1876 and restored to its original style, The Les Salons theatre has some outstandingly bold decor by the Parisian firm Diosse & Fils, who were also responsible for the auditorium and stage of the Grand Théâtre, which was built at the same time. In addition to hosting various plays, Les Salons also holds exhibitions.
