Intro

Historic mountain hotel sitting at an altitude of 2,222 metres in the middle of the Engelberg-Titlis ski region, which can only be reached on foot or by gondola lift and chair lift. A rustic and youthful atmosphere surrounded by mountain scenery. Cosy rooms with one to ten beds, accommodating up to 100 guests. The kitchen serves up regional dishes such as Urner Häfelichabis (lamb and cabbage stew). Large sun terrace. Various events, including descents at full moon, the Alpine carnival and concerts. The Bärghuis was fully renovated in summer 2014 and was reclassified to the Swiss Lodge category. The rooms now offer plenty of Alpine charm and contemporary comfort. The Stübli restaurant was renovated with aged wood from the local Trübsee area; it offers table service, high-quality food, and delicious drinks from the cellar. Enjoy a quality break with us up on the Jochpass. A seminar at our Bärghuis Jochpass at 2222 m above sea level is something extraordinary: Homey ambience combined with an idyllic, quaint environment. Bärghuis Jochpass is located at 2222 meters above sea level beneath the peak of Titlis in the primal surroundings of one of Central Switzerland's most beautiful regions. Our Alpine lodge is the point of departure for countless adventures into this fabulous Alpine world. Whether you are a winter sports aficionado, hiking enthusiast, alpine flora botanist, seasoned summiteer, or just someonewho knows how to enjoy life: right outside our front door, untamed nature is waiting to be discovered and experienced in all its splendor. Culinary It's simply fabulous what the region around Jochpass has to offer – and that goes for the food too. Passionate hosts, we use it all to our, and especially your, advantage, therefore we buy all our fresh produce from local farmers. Rooms Our hotel rooms are equipped with lots of wood, Alpine charm and contemporary comfort.
Arriving by gondola and chairlift. We recommend leaving (summer and winter) with car or public transport to Engelberg village. With cable car and chair lift, it is then up to us on the Joch Pass. Luggage transport is of course possible. Last ascent from Engelberg to the Joch Pass: 15:30. Last ascent from Engstlenalp to Jochpass: 16:30. It can special trips are booked with the Titlis cable cars: For an extra charge of CHF 5 per piece of luggage, the railway transports the baggage from the valley station to the mountain station Jochpass. Ticket prices are not included in the room rate.

Swiss Bike Hotel

Innovative mountain hotel in a beautiful, car-free location, with two flow trails and a nature trail right outside your door. Shuttle and chair lift. The hut warden is a passionate cyclist with knowledge of hidden trails. Personal guide upon request. Gourmet treats: four-course evening meals, an exquisite wine list, home-made fruit cakes, and pasta and regional specialities. Cosy rooms with one to ten beds, accommodating up to 100 guests. Battery charger, overnight laundry service. Workshop at the hotel. Pets welcome.

Уютный домик в деревенском стиле находится в лыжном регионе Энгельберг-Титлис, который прозвали раем для фрирайдеров. У отеля также отличное расположение для продолжительных прогулок на беговых лыжах, снегоступах и катания на санках. Шеф-повар ресторана любит использовать семейные рецепты, в том числе и из прошлых эпох, для приготовления блюд. Здесь отдают предпочтение продуктам от местных поставщиков.
