The Ziegelhütte is idyllically situated 69 metres above Zurich at the edge of the forest above Schwamendingen. It is a country inn in the city with several beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, a large beer garden, a drinking hall and a 60’s style bowling alley. The restaurant serves fresh and high-quality handcrafted cuisine with an emphasis on meat and vegetables. Quality and sustainability are very important to the establishment, which has its own vegetable and herb garden and buys whole carcasses that are butchered in-house.
