Built in 1817 as a nobleman's house, the "Margna" has been welcoming guests since 1901. The historic charm of an Engadin manor house makes this hotel, decorated in elegant country-house style, quite unique. The renovated pine-clad rooms, stately reception rooms decorated with antique furniture and paintings, and first-class restaurants guarantee an authentic holiday experience. Active relaxation is provided by the new wellness area and, in summer, a private 6-hole golf course, a sand tennis court and mountain bikes for hire.

The newly renovated seminar area with two modern conference rooms with light-coloured wooden parquet flooring is ideal for smaller seminars, closed meetings or strategy workshops. The seminar rooms, ranging from 40 to 86 square metres, have natural daylight and face south to east. The room can be divided by a partition wall. The seminar area is located in a separate hotel building with its own access. From there you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Engadine mountains. If that doesn't get your «inspiraziun» going!

This former patrician house was built by the Engadine confectioner Johann Josty. Its function rooms are all about authenticity and uniqueness. You can choose from several rooms full of character: the light-flooded, modern Grialetsch banqueting hall, the authentic Engadine Stüva, the Enoteca & Osteria Murütsch in the vaulted cellar and the Restorant dal Parc with its magnificent window fronts. In summer, the hotel's spacious park with its mighty trees offers cosy spots for aperitifs and outdoor ceremonies. At the Parkhotel Margna in Sils, hardly any of the 59 rooms are the same. A modern, renovated junior suite or a historic, romantic suite - choose the room of your dreams for your wedding night. The typical Engadine stone pine wood ensures a deep and restful sleep after an exciting and eventful day.

The spacious property in the light-flooded plain between the lakes of Sils and Silvaplana has a hotel garden with a wind-protected terrace, a well-tended sand tennis court, a golf course and a spa with views of the Engadine mountains. Guests appreciate the heated ski and wax room and enter the cross-country skiing network directly at the hotel. In summer, an own rowing boat on the Silsersee as well as hiking trails and bike trails directly from the hotel inspire.

The Romantik Hotel Margna can look back on an eventful past: built by the pâtissier Johann Josty, who had made his fortune in Berlin, it later passed into the ownership of the hotel and winter sports pioneer Johannes Badrutt, before being converted into a guest-house and finally in 1901 becoming the Hotel Margna.

It is located in the middle of the sheltered Sils plateau, in the picturesque Sils-Baselgia region, just ten minutes' drive from sophisticated St. Moritz.
