Venues in Ticino

Since September 2015, LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura) has been an impressive platform for contemporary creativity from southern Switzerland. The building by Ticino architect Ivano Gianola offers visitors art across 2500 square metres and a modern theatre and concert hall with space for 1000 guests.

For events, seminars and meetings it is possible to reserve some outdoor areas of the botanical park and the historic Villa Emden exclusively. The hotel has 10 double rooms, or single use, renovated in contemporary and ethnic style, with a splendid 360° view of Lake Maggiore.

At the southern end of Lake Lugano is the 1,701 metre high Monte Generoso. This lofty altitude makes it without a doubt the best mountain for views in the canton of Ticino.
